Another exciting weekend, with a need to start out marking the track with lathe just so the racers could see where the track was supposed to be, to needing the lathe the next morning to find the track under almost a foot of snow. Mike Ehlringer is feeling the pressure now, with 3 consecutive endurance wins with Bill Nelson and Dick Nordby in the 01 car.
The towing was rather quiet on Saturday, with only Paul Palzer blowing a head gasket in the 22 car. Sunday was a completely different story, with some snow banks high enough to hide cars behind them. I had 4 tows before I got the studded tires on the truck. Brian Lange in the 61 car gave us our first rollover of the season as he left it on the roof at the north end of the track.
