Yet another week leaving us with insufficent ice in the cities sent us back to Garrison.

A very exciting weekend, with the largest field of cars in quite a long time. Monster Garage had their Ice Cream Truck out on Saturday morning.

This weekend was far kinder to the cars than last weekend, with only a few mechanical problems.

After a wintertime period of near record warmth, the lakes in the area are dismal, but we finally have enough ice in Garrison to run a weekend.

I finally got through sorting the pictures from last weekend, and figured out the upload process for the new gallery software.

I've upgraded the web gallery to Gallery2. All 16000 thumbnails need to be regenerated, which will take a day or so.

The old gallery is as of this moment blocked, so all of the old links will probably not work until I get some stuff straightened out once the thumbnail recreation finishes.

The link on the left to "Picture Gallery" should be working, however.

I took just under 2000 pictures last weekend and am working on sorting through them.

The club signed an exclusive with a pro photographer, so I can't make my pictures available for a while.

If you want to take a look at last year's pictures feel free. This year I worked on getting more pictures with multiple cars in them, and I also have more pictures with heavy background blur to show the car speed.

Another track weekend is over. Rain on Friday and Saturday led to an early close on Saturday, but Sunday had beautiful weather all day long.

The Saturday night social wasn't very well attended with all the rain, so I didn't set up the laptop.

The pictures are finally in the gallery. There are over 1500 pictures of at least 74 different cars. The pictures from Friday where cars didn't always have numbers are just grouped by color.

Rather wet weather on Saturday gave way to dry sunny weather on Sunday. Plenty of good racing and good partying on Saturday night made for an enjoyable weekend.

The first Nord Stern BIR weekend has passed. I started out with 2517 pictures, and have finally cleaned out the crud, and gotten all the pictures sorted out by car.

As always, for the protection of the car owners, a login and password is required to access most of the pictures on the web site. This is because I've heard reports of insurance agents searching web sites and cancelling insurance policies if they find evidence of cars being used on-track. Not wanting to contribute to such behavior, I've made the policy to only make obviously non-street cars visible as well as those cars where the owner has granted permission. If you want your cars publicly viewable, let me know.
