Mother Nature didn't cooperate this weekend, giving us very warm temperatures. The endurance race, won by Don Coatsworth and Mike Rappa in the 01 car, ended up being shortened to about 50 minutes due to excess water on the track.

It was a busy weekend for towing, with about 33 tows for the weekend. Chris Peterson and Dave McGovern dominated the weekend again, with wins in both Sprint and Endurance.

A recap of the weekend can be summed up in a single word "Wet". 50 degree highs on Saturday resulted in a considerable amount of surface melt. Combined with the usual track ruts, we had 3-6 inches of standing water in many corners by the end of Saturday.

Dick Nordby and Bill Nelson had their first overall Endurance win in their VW running in SGT. The weather was great, the track fast and wide. A co-scheduled rallycross on a narrow twisty track made for additional fun.
